Users can make changes to their Forums settings by clicking on the gear icon in the forums interface.
Once done, you'll be greeted with your Forums Settings page. From here you can change your handle & location, notification settings, as well as link your profile:
Changing your Handle & Location
Once in the Forums Settings page, click on the pencil icon next to 'Your Forums Details'. A window will pop up allowing you to make the necessary changes. Hit the 'Save' button for the changes to take effect.
*Note: It may take several minutes for your past replies to display your new handle.
Notification Settings
Normally, a user will receive an email notification once someone replies to their post. If you want to edit these notifications, simply click on the notifications dropdown, and set them how you'd prefer. You can edit how often you're notified about posts you're following or when there are replies to something you posted:
Hit the 'Save' button to apply the changes.
