Users aged 18 and older can create and manage accounts on our sites. Profiles may be created for children under the age of 18, but a parent or legal guardian must create and be the holder of the account, and must manage all communication and use of the account.
This rule is intended to protect the safety and privacy of children on the platforms, make sure parents are involved, and to comply with laws in the United States, United Kingdom, and European Union.
How this affects new users:
- New users must verify their age at sign-up.
- Parents or Legal guardians of children under 18 will be allowed to create and manage an account that contains a talent profile for their child.
- The parent or legal guardian will be required to use their own name and email address during the registration process but will have the option to set their child’s name as the “stage name” when creating a profile.
- The parent or legal guardian may be asked to verify their identity, by scanning and uploading a valid identification document, such as a driver’s license.
