A job poster is able to modify their casting notice after it is published if necessary. You might need to make a variety of changes such as make edits, expire a notice, extend a notice, or hide the existence of your notice. This article will detail how to accomplish these tasks.
Submitting Edits
In your Casting Dashboard you will find the title of your casting notice and the Edit icon to the right of it. Click on that icon and you will now be able make changes to the notice.
Changing any detail largely follows the same process as the original posting (make the edit and then hit Update Job Listing).
For instance, say that you want to change the time of the audition that you have listed on the notice. You would scroll down to the Locations section, and click on the Audition Details button.
A dropdown will appear. Click on Edit Audition.
You will now be taken to the Edit Audition Details page. Make the necessary changes to the audition info and then click on the Save button at the bottom of the page.
Once the change is made, you'll need to click on the Update Job Listing button on the right side of the screen or the Update Casting Call button (located at the bottom of the screen), in order for the changes to take effect.
Prematurely Expiring A Casting Notice
If you find that you have cast your project ahead of time, you may want to expire it early. This can be done by editing your notice and clicking Expire this listing.
First, go to your Casting Dashboard, and click on the Edit icon next to the notice you want to expire:
Then you'll go to the right side of the page and click Expire this listing:
You'll then see the verification modal, confirming that you want to expire this listing. Click OK:
It will then be listed as (Expired) on your Casting Dashboard:
If you click on the View Casting Call eyeball icon, you will see the notice is now expired and can no longer be applied to.
Extending A Casting Notice
Conversely, you may find you need more time to cast your project. You can also extend the expiration date. This would be accomplished under the Dates & Locations section. You would move the date forward to the desired end date.
Boosting A Casting Notice
If you want to increase your casting notice's visibility, you may do so simply by going to your Casting Dashboard, clicking the Edit icon next to your current project, and then selecting the Boost option at the top of the page. Please note that your notice needs to have been running for at least 5 days. The cost is $24.95.
Hiding A Notice
When a notice expires, it can often still be seen in Google searches which may be undesirable for you. If you find this to be the case with your casting notice, you can contact via the web form and ask that the notice be hidden for you. This will remove it from Google search results. Please note that it can sometimes take 2 weeks for results to disappear from the Google cache.
Cloning A Notice (Reviving An Expired Notice)
If you have an expired notice that you wish to start as a new notice, you would first select the expired notice in your account's Casting Dashboard by selecting the Edit icon next to the expired project title.
Once you are on the listing Edit page, you can make any changes you wish to your notice and then select the Clone this listing button, in the upper right column of your screen.
In the modal that will now appear, the next step would be to select Clone Job.
You will now be taken to the cloned notice which will be title Copy of .... You would change the title and then make the other appropriate edits and post the cloned job to the site. This action requires a payment for posting a notice.
