Creating Your Crew Profile on iOS
Once you've signed up, you can start to build your crew profile. Tap on 'Add a Crew Profile' to get started.
Tap 'Continue' to confirm you want to create a Crew Profile.
If you accidentally selected the wrong profile type, tap on 'Maybe later' to return to the previous screen.
Age Verification and Parental Consent
The first step will take you to an age verification screen. Users of the platform need to be at least 18 years old. Tap on the appropriate button and proceed to the next section of your profile.
Users under 18 will be taken to a Parental Consent Form to be completed by a parent or legal guardian.
Users 18 or over will be asked to enter their date of birth.
Once completed, tap on the 'Next' button and you'll be taken to the next step of the user profile which will allow you to start adding your basic details.
Basic Details
You'll be asked to fill out your name, your professional working title (i.e. Director, Writer, Photographer), your location, set your profile's visibility to public or private, and choose your profile URL.
Your profile URL is how people will find you on the platform. You can use letters, numbers, dashes, and underscores. Once completed, tap the 'Next' button to move on to the next step.
You'll then be asked to add your roles (Writer, Director, etc.), as well as your preferred Hourly Rate. After making your selections, tap 'Next' to continue.
On the next page, upload a headshot.
While you may be working behind the scenes, an employer still wants to be able to see your face and be rest assured that they are hiring a real person.
Tapping on the large plus sign will pull up a menu allowing you to browse the photos on your phone, and select a headshot to add to your profile. When you've uploaded your photo, tap 'Next'.
Once you've added your basic details and headshot, you'll receive a confirmation that your profile is set up. Congratulations!
You may now either continue editing your profile or begin searching for roles by tapping on the appropriate button.
Creating a Crew Profile with an existing Talent or Voiceover Profile
If you've already set up a Talent and/or Voiceover Profile, navigate to the Profile tab and then tap on the profile link above your headshot (in this example, 'Actor & Performer Profile').
You'll see a dropdown menu where you can create other types of profiles. Tap on 'Create Crew Profile'.
You'll see a screen asking you to confirm whether you want to create a Crew Profile. Tap 'Continue'.
Here you will see the option to create a Crew Profile from scratch or import your profile details from one of your existing profiles (Talent or Voiceover).
If you want to import your details, tap on the box next to 'Yes, select profile details to import'. You'll see an option to curate what details you want to import. Untap the boxes on the details you don't want imported. When you are done making your selections, tap on 'Finish Creating My Profile'.
