Who Is Stripe And What Is The Relationship With Our Company
Every employer has their own preferred methods of paying talent, and often the decision of how payments will be delivered is up to the needs of the employer. We have partnered with Stripe to get you paid quickly and keep your personal and payment information secure. Thousands of companies around the world in addition to ours already trust Stripe to process payments for their customers. This allows employers to optionally pay talent directly on the platform rather than having to use an off-site method (such checks, direct deposits, Venmo, etc.). This helps streamline and secure the hiring and payment process and related elements such as taxes, as well as being a convenient way to simplify the payment workflow, which often results in talent getting paid faster than in the past. To receive payments on the platform you must set up a Stripe account.

*** Please note that if you choose to turn down the opportunity to use an employer’s preferred payment method (whether that be our Stripe-powered system, Paypal, or whatever the employer prefers), some employers regrettably may decide not to hire you. However, you are free to contact the employer and request delivery of payment via your preferred means (such as Venmo or Paypal); we just can’t guarantee that any specific employer will or won’t be able to accommodate such a request.
