We are providing a new process through which job posters can conveniently invite outside talent to a one time free opportunity to apply to their notice posted on the site. If there is someone you have worked with successfully in the past, know from another site, or simply know in person that isn't on our site, you can invite them and they are given a pass to apply through the invitation link without having a subscription. Listed below are the three methods you can go about inviting the talent through your Application Manager.
Inviting Outside Talent via your Application Manager
First open up your Application Manager via your Casting Dashboard by clicking on Go to Application Manager next to the Production you'd like to invite the talent.
Click on the More drop-down located in the upper right hand corner of the Application Manager and then select Invite outside talent.
You'll then see the following form:
Select the role you'd like to invite them to apply to, enter the talent's email address, and compose a short message to send the talent. You can send multiple talent an invitation at the same time by simply pressing enter after each email address is input. After you are done filling out each section, press the Send Invites button to send your invitation(s).
You will then be greeted with the 'Invitation Sent!' message which reminds you to send an audition request (if desired) and confirms you've sent your invitation.
Inviting Through the Role Side Bar
You can also send an invitation through the Role Side Bar of your Application Manager.
In order to do this, first open up your Application Manager and scroll over to the left hand side of the page where your roles are listed. Click on one of the roles you'd like to invite talent to expand the drop down menu.
Click on Invite outside talent.
You will then see the same form as before. Fill out the form and press Send Invites and you'll be met with the same confirmation screen.
Inviting Through the Audition Schedule
The final method to invite an outside talent is through your Audition Schedule. For information on how to set up an Audition Schedule please take a look here.
At the bottom left hand corner of the Application Manager, click on Create a New Schedule under the Audition Calendar.
You will then see the familiar Create a New Schedule form. Select the role you want, set the audition date and time, and give the audition a name. When you're done, press the Save & Continue button.
You will then see a pop up that lets you know the schedule has been created. After clicking OK another pop up will appear that provides next steps to either go to your schedule view to review your applicants, or to invite Outside talent. Click on the Invite Outside Talent button.
You will then see the Invite Outside Talent form. The Role and Audition Schedule are pre-populated based on the Audition Schedule that you just created. You can also edit this section if needed.
Fill out the rest of the form and press Send Invites.
You will then see the same pop up screen confirming that you've successfully sent your invitation.
How to View Invited/Pending Applicants
If you look in your Invites folder of your Audition Schedule Calendar, you'll notice that the talent has been automatically added to the audition schedule. It reads Invited - Pending underneath their email address.
