Why has the StarNow website changed?
We have upgraded the site to provide our talent seekers with exciting new features and an improved user experience. The new suite of services really helps to leverage StarNow with fantastic offerings such as scheduling tools for auditions, being able to audition talent through the platform, sending secure payments directly via the website, and many more collaborative abilities that we feel really help to streamline the casting process on our platform. We’re really excited about all of the new functionality and design of the site, and hope that you are, too!
How do I post a listing on the new site?

How do I manage applications to my listings?
StarNow's new application manager allows you to easily view and take action on your applicants. Within the application manager you can review candidates on a role by role basis, organize candidates in folders, filter candidates by union status, age range, location, and more! You can also schedule auditions and message the applicants, audition the talent, create shortlists, and make payments securely through the platform to those you are working with. Do I still need Contact Credits?
As part of our site upgrades, we’re excited to confirm that contact credits are no longer needed in order to message other members onsite. This means that you are free to get in touch with members to discuss upcoming projects or sourcing the perfect person for your next opportunity. Please note that daily limits apply, and the customer service team may get in touch if you are approaching this limit, to see if we can assist you with reaching talent in another way.
How do I edit/boost my listing?

Are Backstage and StarNow the same now?
Backstage and StarNow are owned by the same company, but are unique communities with different job opportunities and talent databases. Utilizing both platforms will increase the visibility of your job listings and casting calls, and give you access to the widest range of talent.
