Our messaging system makes it simple and easy to manage communication between talent and talent seekers while protecting your privacy.
The Messages Inbox is the place to read and respond to messages you've received.
To access the inbox, make sure you're logged in to your account. Then click on Messages in the banner running across the top of the page:
Interface Overview
Once in the inbox you will be taken directly to your messages, with the most recent being open:
In the upper left of the messaging panel, you will see three icons:
Clicking on the magnifying glass icon will surface a search bar you can use to search through your messages. Use keywords such as the participant, production name, role, subject line, or body copy in the email to find a specific message. You can also search by unread or if the message contains an attachment.
Next in line is the bulk actions icon. Here you can select one or multiple messages to take actions on. Or check the Select All box to take an action on all messages in the Inbox. Actions include archiving messages or marking them as read or unread.
Last is the waste basket/archive icon. Clicking that takes you to the Archive. The Archive contains all of the older conversations that you've archived to stop them from cluttering up your inbox. Please note that messages cannot be deleted, but they will be out of the way here.
Additionally, in the upper right hand corner of each message is an ellipsis that when clicked shows various options depending on whether you are in the Inbox or in the Archive.

When you receive a message in your email inbox, you can choose to reply to the message by regular email (or you can reply through the site via your Messages Inbox).
Privacy & Safety
The Messaging System protects your privacy by sending messages without revealing your email address.
Messages are forwarded to your email address from our site, instead of from the user who sent you the original message. You can reply to a message from your email inbox, and it will be routed through our platform before being sent to the recipient, protecting your privacy. (Your reply will not reveal your email address, unless you leave your email address in the body of the message.)
Please exercise caution if you decide to reveal your email address or any other personal contact information with another user.
We have a number of security measures in place to help keep scammers off of our platform, but sometimes you might still run into some. We recommend all users read and familiarize themselves with our article Beware of Scams!
If you have any doubts or concerns about an interaction you've had through Messages, please don't hesitate to reach out to Customer Service.
