By purchasing a subscription to the platform you will be able to create your online profile(s) and begin applying to our numerous casting opportunities and jobs for creative freelancers and crew right away! Please see below for instructions on how to get started.
The Process
1. Once you are on the homepage of the platform you are interested in you will need to click on Join.
2. You will first see a pop-up asking if you are a talent or someone looking to hire talent.
3. After selecting talent you will see a window appear where you are prompted to either create an account via SSO or enter your email address.
3a. If choosing SSO via Google or Apple, you will need to choose the email account you want used.
***If using Apple SSO you will be prompted to either share your email address with us (the email address associated with your Apple ID) or to hide your email address. Hiding it will result in the creation of a Apple private relay email address that will be the one associated with your account.
3b. Choosing to create the account using the traditional email address and password route will bring you to the Create an Account screen where you will create a password, enter your name, and postal code. You will then be asked to read the terms of use and agree to them as well as complete age verification. Once these things are done, click Create Account.
4. Next you will see the plan offerings. You would choose either the annual, semiannual, or monthly subscription plan if on Backstage and press Select Plan. StarNow offers semiannual, quarterly, and monthly subscription options. Mandy offers annual and monthly subscription options. (Please note that the introductory offers pictured below are only for first time subscribers)
5. You will then be taken to the Payment window where you will fill out your credit card information. Once filled out, press the 'Review My Order' button to take a final look before purchase.
6. Finally you will be taken to Review window where you can see what type of plan you have purchased, the amount you are paying, and when the subscription is set to auto-renew. You can also make edits before purchasing, if needed. After you have agreed to the terms of service and identified yourself as an adult, all that you need to do is select the 'Process It!' button and the transaction will be completed.
Upon completion, a new window will appear to begin your process of creating a profile to apply to jobs with. In addition, you will receive an email notifying you of the new subscription purchase, as well as other important details.
