Your Profile
Once you've signed up and started your subscription you're ready to build your Actor & Performer profile. To find your profile, click on 'Profile' in the top center of the screen, and select Add Talent Profile from the drop-down.
Basic Details
To begin creating your profile, you'll first need to answer whether the profile is for someone under 18 years of age.
Clicking on No, Over 18 will bring up an Age Confirmation modal where you will need to enter your date of birth.
Clicking on Yes, Under 18 will bring up the Verify your identity prompt. This process must be completed by the parent or guardian of the child in question, as we do not allow for the creation of profiles for children under the age of 18 without their parent or guardian's consent.
After checking the box to certify that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child and give proper consent, you will click on "Next" and be prompted to upload your government issued ID.
In the next screen you will be able to choose between uploading a passport, driver's license, or ID card.
You can do this either by phone or by uploading from your device. No scans or photocopies may be used.
Once these things have been taken care of, you'll be taken to the Basic Details form where you will fill out your profile with all the necessary particulars. This includes your stage name, professional/working title, your profile URL (also known as a vanity url) which is a unique internet address you can use to direct people to your profile easily, your primary headshot (don't worry, you can easily change this photo later), and a few other odds and ends such as your age range, gender, optional pronoun, professional title, and location.
Now, your basic profile will be generated and the real fun will begin.
Interface Overview
When completed, your profile can end up looking something like this:
Connection Icons
These buttons appear in the upper right corner of the profile and allow for connecting with other users.
Copy URL - you can copy that URL so you can send it to people or paste it in documents or emails.
Save - allows a person to favorite your profile, which will serve as a bookmark and allow someone to easily find your profile in the future.
Message - sends the owner of the profile a message.
Invite to Apply - allows the owner of the profile to be invited by a job creator to apply for one of their roles.

If you are in the Preview Mode, along the top of the page you’ll notice the option to switch to Edit Mode. This appears only if you are the owner of the account for whose profile you’re currently viewing.

Clicking the Edit Contact Information button will take you to your Account Settings where you can edit your contact information, change your payment info, view your subscription details, etc.

As you can see above, there are three options presented. You can either upload a new photo from your device, choose to replace the existing photo with one already existing in your Media Locker, or simply keep the current photo and crop it.
See below for information regarding the other photos existing on your profile:

B. Clicking the pencil icon will bring up a window allowing you to edit the thumbnail image of that photo.

D. Clicking on the compass arrows will allow you to drag and drop your photos to reposition them as you like.
Please note that the first 12 photos other than the Main Photo will automatically appear on the details page of your profile.
Videos and Audio
There are two options by which to add video and/or audio to your profile. The first is to add it from the 3rd party sites YouTube or Vimeo (video) and Soundcloud (audio). The second is do a direct media upload from your device.
Uploading from YouTube, Vimeo and SoundCloud
Please note that before using this method to add media to your profile, video and audio must be first uploaded to either YouTube or Vimeo (video) or SoundCloud (audio). They must be set to Public and allow for embedding on other sites (i.e. set to Public).
To perform the upload, click the + button next to either Video or Audio to add the new demo reels. The import process is fairly straightforward and you should see the following window.
To import new media, copy and paste the URL of the video or audio into the Import text field and click Import. Once imported, the media will appear in the list above. Click the check box in the top left corner of the uploaded media, and then click the Add Selected Assets button and your new reel will be added to your profile.
Direct Media Uploads
Subscribers are also able to upload files directly from their own devices to their profiles. There is a 2 GB limit on files and 10 minutes of allowable footage per upload. If a person tries to upload footage longer than 10 minutes in length, the upload will complete when it reaches the 10 minute mark and leave off the portion beyond that.
The following are the supported file formats:
Video: `'.avi', '.mpg', '.mp4', '.ogg', '.hevc', '.mov', '.m4v', '.webm', '.3gp', '.3g2', '.mkv', 'wmv'`
Audio: `'.ogg', 'm4a', '.mp3', '.flac', '.aac', '.wav'`
To be able to do the direct media upload, you must have an active subscription to the site. If you attempt to do it without a subscription, you will be greeted with a pop up window explaining that you need the subscription. Please note that you can always upload using the YouTube, Vimeo and SoundCloud options.
To perform the upload, go to the Media section of Edit Profile, scroll down to Videos or Audio, depending on what you are looking to upload. After clicking on the + button, you will see the following pop up window:
You will see that there is an option called Upload New. That is what is used for direct media uploads. When you click on it, you will see your device file directory:
You will now select the video and click Open. You can now watch the upload in progress and see confirmation of the successful upload when it is done.
Now add the asset and the media will appear under the appropriate section.
Please note that the ability to play the media can be delayed. Refreshing the screen will fix that and the media will be able to be played.
The process is complete. You will also be sent an email either confirming a successful or failed upload.
Once the media is uploaded via either method, you can view and play the media associated with the profile by either clicking on the thumbnail or the play button to the right.
Resumes & Documents
Documents are uploaded and added in the same manner as photos and direct uploads. Documents are normally hidden from other users (since they contain personal contact information). However, if you apply to a casting call, the Casting Director will be able to view your documents as you do. Clicking on your document will download it to your computer.
Highlights Tab
*NOTE: The Highlights tab will be invisible unless you have an entry. To create your first entry, click on the 'Edit Profile' button at the top of the window.
You can use this section of your profile to share information about your career, testimonials, or just stuff about yourself in general. Add as many or as few entries as you want. You can even give each entry a date to create a timeline of your career highlights or achievements.
Click the "Add a Highlight" button to add a new highlight.
Once added, you can edit a highlight by clicking the pencil icon or remove a highlight by clicking the x.
And that's a wrap on creating and editing your Actor & Performer profile. We wish you the best of luck and happy submitting!
