As an Agent on Backstage, you’ll be able to perform the most critical functions of booking your talent. Get access to thousands of jobs, submit your talent, manage applications and auditions, and connect with interested employers, producers, and casting directors.
How do I sign up as an agent on Backstage?
Signing up is simple! Visit our Landing Page and click the “Get Started” button.
Do I have to pay for an agent account?
No, Agents can join Backstage for free!
What kind of agencies are welcome on Backstage?
All types of talent agencies are welcome on Backstage! Our platform supports both small and large agencies, representing Acting, Voiceover, Modeling, Commercial, Influencer, Content Creation talent, and more.
How do I create my roster on Backstage?
After creating your Agent Account, use the Navigation bar to access your Roster Manager. From your Roster Manager, click the “Add Talent” button and enter your talents’ email addresses to invite them to join your Roster on Backstage.
How do I add agency staff to view my roster?
After creating your agent profile, you'll be prompted to invite your staff. You can also locate this by navigating to your Roster Manager and clicking on the "Manage My Team" button. Click on "+ Add a Staff Member" and you can then enter your staff's email addresses to invite them to join your Agency Staff on Backstage.
How do I submit my talent for roles on Backstage?
After you’ve onboarded your Roster, go to our Casting Calls page to find relevant jobs for your talent. When you find a job you want to submit to, click “Select Talent” for the desired role and follow the instructions on the screen.
Can I edit my talent’s profiles?
No. At this time, Agents cannot directly edit the information on their talents’ profiles. However, you do have full control over the content in the applications you submit on behalf of your talent.
Can I see applications that my talent have submitted themselves?
No. At this time, agents can only access applications which they or their staff have created on behalf of their talent.
How do Payments work for Agents on Backstage?
At this time, Backstage Secure Payments does not support payments to agents. Not to worry! You can coordinate with the Employer via our Messaging tools to arrange payment off-platform.
