Casting directors can personally invite talent to apply to specific roles they have posted if they find someone they think is particularly suited to the role within the Talent Database. If you receive one of these invites - congratulations!
Below you will find details on how to manage your invitations.
Invites Tab
Navigate to the 'My Applications' tab. The first folder on the left is 'Invites', which is where you can view all of your unanswered invitations.
You can see the name of the role you were invited to, the name of the production, as well as the date you were invited to apply.
Invite Push Notifications
If you have your push notifications turned on, once you've been invited to apply to a project that has been approved by our Casting Team, you will receive a push notification on your phone that looks like this:
Simply tap on the notification to view the invitation. The app will automatically open the casting call on your phone, where you can review the production details and role descriptions.
*In order to receive Push notifications on your phone, you must allow notifications from this app. Please see our guide for more information on how to manage your notification settings.
Declining an Invitation
You are not obligated to accept every invitation you receive on the platform. If you are not interested in applying and want to decline the invitation, simply scroll down to the role you were invited to and tap the 'Decline' button.
Once you tap the 'Decline' button, the 'Decline' button will automatically switch to 'Save Draft', and the invitation will be removed from your Invites folder.
Recovering Declined Invitations and Viewing Invitations from your Messaging Inbox
If you accidentally pressed 'Decline' or want to review the casting call again, simply navigate to your Messaging inbox.
Each time you receive a new invitation to apply to a role, you will also receive a message in your inbox. Tap on the message within your inbox and click on the hyperlink to view the role.
The link will automatically open the casting call and allow you to save the listing as a draft application to apply later, or create an application and apply immediately.
